Longtime colleagues Randy Ferriss and Colton Snyder's office lottery pool may be small, but this week they proved it sure is mighty. After years of pooling together funds from their colleagues at the U.S. Department of Agriculture office in Ames, Ferriss and Snyder, both 52, finally won a big-time lottery prize: $1 million, to be exact. While members of their lottery pool came and went, Ferriss and Snyder remained firm in their commitment, even as Ferriss jokes he tried to back out from time to time.
